Why do people love murals?
Murals are public art shows for those who may not have the means or time to go to galleries. Or to those who do not know they have an interest in art until they conveniently walk by one on the way to the corner store. Everyone should be able to enjoy art. My driving force is to pull emotion/reaction from people. Curiosity is such a pure emotion. I get to experience a vast amount of people’s curiosity and if I am lucky, their interest and their connection to something my being is creating.
When you hire me as a muralist, you are not just hiring a painter.
A muralist performs duties of project manager, designer, salesman, and technician to ensure the quality of the artwork that will last for 10+ years.
